2014 in 12 Images
I made all these plans for 2014. I had set my mind on how I wanted my last school year ever to turn out, where I thought I wanted to live and work after college, that I didn't want to do long distance with my boyfriend, or stay in Ohio etc. etc. I had prepared myself, 4 years in development with this mega "perfect" plan, doing all the "right things" and trying to leave as little as possible up to chance.
WELP, THE UNIVERSE JUST SHIT ALL OVER THAT
I've always been a to-do list kind of person, always wanting to know what's going to happen so I can be prepared. But I'm learning more and more that life doesn't care about what you think should be next. It continues to surprise me, and ultimately gets me where I am supposed to be. So I'm done looking forward, I'm just going to enjoy that I have no fucking idea what 2015 will bring, and that the mystery is kinda wonderful.

#2 SNAIL MAIL LOVE Spent 6 months interning at a letterpress shop!
#3 JOB SEARCH BEGINS, trip to Chicago for a couple interviews!
#4 HELLO NYC First time ever in New York City! Spring Break 2014!
#5 ANNIVERSARY May 26, 2014 Celebrated 1 whole year of love.
#6 LOST 10 YEARS OF LIFE Worked my ass off to complete my Senior Show.
#7 NYC ROUND TWO Won two Merit awards from The One Show & got to go to NYC for the second time!
#8 THE BIGGIE, I graduated from college!
#9 NEW JOB! Accepted my first post-grad job as a Designer at LPK//Cincinnati. I now spend my days creating packaging for Global brands with presence all over the world.
#10 BITTERSWEET MOVE, said goodbye to Columbus & hello to Cincinnati!
#11 NEW APARTMENT! First time living alone, in a brand new city.
#12 NEW CAR! Bought my first new car. Graduation present to myself!
2014 went against all of my plans, & I'm so happy it did. Sometimes God just knows where you're supposed to end up, even if you don't.
